Steve Jobs | Innovator & Creator

We don’t need to tell you about who Steve Jobs was and what he did. Let’s highlight his brilliant mind, and dedication to making his creations loved throughout the world. 

In an early interview, Jobs was asked if he would consider himself a hippy or a nerd. “If I had to pick one of those two, I’m clearly a hippy,” Jobs stated, “and all the people that I work with are clearly in that category too.”  

Steve described how his colleagues worked with computers, not because they loved computers, but rather as a “medium” to connect and deliver their feelings and be used for their creative outlets. 

Jobs went on to describe in the interview that there is more to life than the ordinary 9-5, and that life has another side to it that many of us find ourselves searching for. 

Jobs was an advocate for putting his spirit into his products, and knew he was successful by the early response to the Mac computer - “people love the Macintosh, you don’t hear people loving [computer] products very much.” 

Of course, as the story goes, Steve Jobs was also an advocate and occasional user of LSD. Here is one of his famous quotes about his psychedelic experience:

“Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there’s another side to the coin, and you can’t remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important—creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.”
